Truck Axle Configurations and Their Importance

Axles are essential components of trucks, serving as the shafts that connect wheels to the vehicle and bear the weight of the truck and cargo. The number and configuration of axles impact a truck’s load capacity, stability, maneuverability, and fuel efficiency.
Single Axle Trucks
Single axle trucks have one rear axle and one front axle. This setup is common in light-duty trucks such as pickups and small delivery vans.
